Putting AC Trampi back on track

AC Trampi are at the moment doing efforts to rebuilt a momentum for a pre-season campaign.
I reply to our friend Mark Theuma and his team mates from PUMAS, the team played a good training match last Tuesday, June 23 at Kordin. Even though many of us are out of form, it feels that the spirit is slowly gearing up to it's well known heights.
The committee is also fine tuning it's preparations in view of the coming season. Hopefully the upcoming tournament will help all of us involved to get enthusiastic again. A big thanks goes to Conrad for his work with the tournament and to Renzo for his ongoing moral and technical support.

Vic Hermans to coach Malta National futsal team

The official website of the Netherlands Football Association (KNVB) announced that Dutch coach Vic Hermans will be appointed as new coach of the Maltese Futsal national team as from August 1st. It is claimed that the Dutch coach signed a three-year contract with an option for another two years.
Vic Hermans has been coaching the Netherlands for the past eight years but decided not to renew his contract with the Dutch FA after missing out on the 2010 UEFA European Futsal Championship.
As a player, he played 45 times and scored 23 goals for his country. He went on to coach Hong Kong, Malaysia and Iran as well as Lommel SK's football team, before joining the Royal Netherlands Football Association where he has been involved with the Under-21, Under-19 and women's futsal teams.
Speaking to the KNVB website, Hermans said that his objective will be that of putting the game on a more professional basis by building on what Michal Striz has done over the past years.
"It is always a challenge for me to start at zero and leave something tangible at the end of the trip," said Vic Hermans.
Hermans will replace former Malta coach Michael Striz who has been in charge of the team for the past three years. Under his guidance, Malta played in two UEFA Championship qualifying mini-tournaments and one FIFA World Cup qualifying mini-tournament. The team failed to win any of these matches but did quite well in some friendly matches.

AC Trampi looking for coaching staff

AC Trampi is currently looking for the services of a new coach to replace Renzo Kerr Cumbo, who due to personal commitments might not be in a position to hold the post he served with great passion last season.
Whilst thanking Renzo for his brilliant and faithful service, the club hopes to get a few coaches interested in this challenging post. Anyone interested may contact the club by email on actrampi@gmail.com
