Almost Half Way Through

There is only one match left for the first round of games to be completed and we can see a slowly improving AC Trampi side. We started off with a quite unlucky game against Point Break Bobs which we lost 2-1. In a sogged pitch at Hamrun, and under heavy rain a technically superior Mosta FC side gave us our second defeat 4-2. The next match was against Demons who probably are the best side in Section A. Our team's performance was laclustre and conceded too easily, ending the match with a 5-2 defeat. However when things were not looking so bright we got our first point against Qormi in the subsequent game that ended 2-2. The next match was very disappointing for many of us, where we had to settle for a point although being 3 goals up. But that's football in the end. The team then saw some changes in the next game with the introduction of Clifton Calleja and Conrad Dimech. All players put everything in the match against New Team Futsal Club and despite being without the injured Steve Pace we finally got our first three points that lifted us from the bottom of the table and gave us brighter prospects to look towards. Of course we celebrated this first win in style!

AC Trampi's next match will be against Riviera FC at Zabbar. Let's all build on what we have achieved in the last games. By working hard together we can surely achieve a safe place in the table and keep our place in the third tier of Maltese futsal.
