Mid-Djarju tal-Captain ta' Trampi (1)

Din hi l-ewwel pagna fid-djarju tal-captain ta Trampi :)
L-ideja hi li filwaqt li nkomplu nibnu u nsahhu l-ispirtu tat-tim inzommu wkoll infurmati b'dak kollu li hu ghaddej lil dawk kollha li ghandhom x'jaqsmu mat-tim!! Se tibda tkun ftit linji darba fil-gimgha.
L-ahhar hmistax tas-sena 2008 raw tibdila fit-training tal-players fejn l-iskop ewlieni sar dak li kulhadd jiehu aktar pjacir jilghab filwaqt li ma ninsewx it-training fiziku (ghax biex tilghab 7-a-side b'10 min-nies hi iebsa!!) kif ukoll biex tingab aktar kunfidenza mal-ballun.
F'training session minnhom, tat-Tlieta 23 ta Dicembru, lghabna friendly kontra t-tim ta' Iz-Zebbugin fejn hrigna rebbieha bl-iskor ta 7-3. Kienet wirja tajba hafna minn bosta players li matul l-istagun ma tantx isibu spazju fit-tim fosthom Adrian u Jonathan B. Kienet ukoll friendly li Wayne JD ghamilha ta' kowc u ma laghbx (forsi ghalhekk irbahna :p). Player tal-loghba kien bla dubju Jonathan S aka il-Gongi.
Is-Sibt ergajna ghamilna 7-a-side, pero' din id-darba konna 14-il player. Hargu talenti mohbija ta' nies bhal Wayne M u Bernard S li ghamel gowl gmielu. Ta' min jghid ukoll li Satinho uriena aktar talenti mohbija li ma jistawx jissemew hawn!!
Fil-pagna li imiss ikollna ftit hsibijiet u feelings ta' qabel il-loghba tal-lig kontra Mosta FC nhar l-Erbgha 7 ta' Jannar 2009.
Sa dakinar nixtieq nawgura lil kulhadd l-isbah xewqat ghal sena gdida! Biss nixtieq nghid li ma nistax nifhem kif l-iqsar player taghna mar jiccelebra go Napli fejn nafu kemm jigu sparati murtali bl-addocc, nisperaw li jistahba wara xi hadd!!

Trampi Salvage Important Point

Thanks to two goals by Steve Pace inside the last five minutes of Wednesday's match, AC Trampi managed to save a match that was almost done and dusted.

Riviera FC took the lead early in the first half and then added another in an almost identical way, some minutes later. The Trampi defence was caught on the off foot with precise through balls leaving the Riviera attackers free with against our keeper. Unfortunately on both occasions they did not miss. The second half saw a more determined Trampi. However we still lacked much needed attempts on goal and time was ticking by. Coach Kerr Cumbo ultimately instructed Wayne Dimech to join the outfield players, switching to a flying keeper system. Be it luck or be it the sheer determination of the team (or a combination of both) the ball crossed the line two times making the score 2-2. This gave us an important point that keeps us in the race for maintaining our place in the third tier of Maltese futsal.

As a side note AC Trampi would like to thank all those who participated in making the 5 year anniversary party a huge success.

Almost Half Way Through

There is only one match left for the first round of games to be completed and we can see a slowly improving AC Trampi side. We started off with a quite unlucky game against Point Break Bobs which we lost 2-1. In a sogged pitch at Hamrun, and under heavy rain a technically superior Mosta FC side gave us our second defeat 4-2. The next match was against Demons who probably are the best side in Section A. Our team's performance was laclustre and conceded too easily, ending the match with a 5-2 defeat. However when things were not looking so bright we got our first point against Qormi in the subsequent game that ended 2-2. The next match was very disappointing for many of us, where we had to settle for a point although being 3 goals up. But that's football in the end. The team then saw some changes in the next game with the introduction of Clifton Calleja and Conrad Dimech. All players put everything in the match against New Team Futsal Club and despite being without the injured Steve Pace we finally got our first three points that lifted us from the bottom of the table and gave us brighter prospects to look towards. Of course we celebrated this first win in style!

AC Trampi's next match will be against Riviera FC at Zabbar. Let's all build on what we have achieved in the last games. By working hard together we can surely achieve a safe place in the table and keep our place in the third tier of Maltese futsal.

Everyone is invited to come and give his support to the best supported futsal club in the islands!
